Hey beautiful dolls :) Athyx is decidedly sleepy and has retired for the night. So i've taken over to just begin a little bit about makeup ^.^ To get some things out of the way, i'm not someone who believes in coating ourselves up with makeup. It's a tool that accentuates our natural looks, not completely modify it. So let's have a little fun with experimenting and discovering what works and what brings a little sparkle in our lives. <3 

Do you always wonder what amazing complexions other girls have? I certainly do :) Athyx on the other hand has flawless skin so she seldom has to worry. ^.^

So what can we do to accentuate our complexions? Well there are a variety of methods. Foundation is certainly a common choice and a very handy tool. But i recommend BB Cream. Most of you already know of it, but for those who aren't aware, this wonder cream blends into virtually any skin tone and works as a beautiful concealer, anti-aging and most importantly sunblock! (A gal has to protect her skin after all :D). It has a much lighter coverage than foundation so you're less likely to get that cakey feeling. 

This evens out your skin tone and helps you look fresh, young and vibrant with skin not unlike the prettiest girls you pass by in the mall or on the trams. Simply apply it in dots to your forehead, cheeks, and nose. Then spread it out evenly over your skin. You can use your fingers or a foundation brush, depending on your preferences. Make sure you don't apply too much now! :) Notice that upon first applying it appears very white, too white for you on most occasions. But it doesn't take long for it to oxidize into your natural skin tone while giving you the illusion of being fairer. 

There are a wide variety of BB Creams to choose from and is very easy to find. Misha is a very popular brand, but i like to use SunPlay Skin Aqua BB Cream. With an spf of 36 it keeps me ready for nearly anything. I'll post some pictures of various BB Creams to choose from another time. :) So for now, good night and sleep tight angels! ^.^

Spirit hoods GALORE !

So, we recently got our Spirit hoods! We'll provide a link on where to get these awesome hoods further on. These hoods come in many different animal types such as Panda, Coyote and Huskies :) Athyx is the proud (and very rich) owner of the Brown Bear and the Black Wolf Spirit Hoods. :)  Aries, the happy and contented owner of the Red Fox Spirit Hood. For this outing, Aries was wearing the Brown Bear and Athyx was wearing the Black Wolf. 

An awesome thing about these hoods are that they make amazingly versatile accessories that go with virtually any outfit and they look great on anyone. You may not think so at first, especially when you see them on a rack or online, but trust us, once you put it on it does wonders for you! ♥
